Post-Superbowl Day Off

I think it's time that we came to an agreement that the day after the Superbowl needs to be a day off from work. Nothing crazy. It doesn't have to be a national holiday. We can call it a "National Agreement."

Seriously, I am so tired. If you're going to make me watch all those commercials football players, and eat gobs of dip than I really do need some time to recover.

For a small gathering of 7 we had the following menu last night:
  • Pulled pork sliders
  • Feta Dip & Pita Chips
  • Spinach Dip & Pita Pockets
  • Wings (75 ordered to be exact)
  • Mac n' Cheese
  • Chips
  • Tortilla Chips & Salsa
  • Sweedish Meatballs
  • Cornbread Jalapeno Poppers
  • Onion Rings
  • Melissa Bakes Mini Superbowl Cupcakes

Cornbread stuffed jalepeno poppers are my new favorite thing

Course 1 (not pictured: gobs of pulled pork currently clogging my arteries)

Feeling slim this Monday. What was on your Superbowl menu?

  1. I think you need to post the recipe to those jalapenos. I want them in my mouth immediately.

    1. LOL! It's a recipe I got here. I just added in cream cheese as well because I'm slim like that.

    1. I like to tell myself the calories negate because you're watching people run around.
